This Cedar-Cottage contemporary family residence was designed to maximise natural light and winter solar-gain via the large southern glazing, whilst capturing mountain views to the north. Passive ventilation is achieved through stack-effect in the open triple-height entrance lobby with skylight.
The spacious new 3-bedroom home can be combined with the bright basement spaces below to make it a 4-bed home with large family/entertainment room. Alternatively, the basement can be closed off to become a separate 1-bed apartment with private light-well entrance. Nick led the design of this project while working at Christopher Bozyk Architects Ltd.
