Set within the scenic Lions Bay Beach Park, this project revitalizes the area with a new public washroom building, upgraded playground amenities and improved landscaping. The existing washroom building was demolished and replaced with a new, durable facility featuring accessible and standard restrooms and a multi-use covered outdoor space.

Thoughtfully integrated with the natural coastal setting, the new building sits on the footprint of the original structure, respecting existing site constraints. A flat-roof canopy with rounded steel columns covers the outdoor space, offering open views of the beach and park. Built from robust concrete block and translucent polycarbonate panels, the structure balances strength with lightness and transparency. A vibrant mural by local artists animates the building, celebrating the identity of Lions Bay. The design emphasizes accessibility, durability, and harmony with the landscape.
